Just returned from a week in Chalet Kammleitn with a group of 20 skiers. Everyone had a great time and thank Debbie and Spencer for all their efforts to ensure we had the best possible time. The chalet is exceptionally clean and well cared for. All rooms are large with ensuite facilities. The food was perfect - well prepared and presented - just perfect after a day's skiing in the wonderful resort of Nassfeld. BIG thanks to Debbie and Spencer.

Hello,
Do you remember a group of hikers , not so young, any more, I must confess.
Their intention was to walk from Banneux (Belgium) to Medjugorje (in Bosnie-Herzegovine).
Here we are. We have done it !!! We walked 1900 km, 10 stays of about 10 days!
We feel so excited and happy about it. Now we have lots of people to thank for that success and true happiness.
You are among those. You have been so nice to us, you took interest in our plan , you helped us somehow to make our dream come true.
We really feel very grateful to you, we want to thank you and we wish you the best.

Ideal chalet for a large mixed group as there are various room options. Debbie's cooking is great and just what is required after a days skiing. Both Debbie and Spencer are extremely helpful and friendly.

gemütliche Pension in der Nähe des Schigebietes Naßfeld. Nette Unterkunftsgeber und angenehm eingerichtetes Haus. Bietet ein reichliches Frühstücksbuffet. Gegen Aufpreis kann auch ein Abendessen konsumiert werden. Dies wäre für jene von Vorteil, welche sich dort ohne Fortbewegungsmittel aufhalten. In der kleinen Ortschaft, in dem sich die Unterkunft befindet, gibt es ansonsten fast keine Möglichkeit, abends etwas zu Essen zu bekommen. Auch ansonsten wäre es ratsam, mit dem eigenen Auto anzureisen. Es gibt zwar einen Schibus zur Talstation des Schigebietes, zu diesem ist es aber ein Fußweg von gut 5 Minuten (je nachdem, wie schnell jemand unterwegs ist). Es gibt aber für diesen Fall auch bei der Talstation im Sportgeschäft ein Skidepot, damit würde wenigstens diese Last wegfallen. Alles in alles aber empfehlenswert.

On a motorcycle touring trip to Austria, we stayed at Chalet Kammleitn. We were welcomed after a long ride from Germany by Spencer and Deb. Their family type care of their guests was a wonderful and welcome surprise. All meals were excellent and prepared with fresh and mainly local produce and Deb was kind enough to be flexible in the meal times to fit in with our touring and Spencer was always ready to give us advice on routes that came recommended.The location was perfect with routes though to Italy and Slovenia and the fantastic passes of the Grossglockner and Nockalmstrasse to name but two and the area is catered for more outdoor pursuits such as walking,cycling and skiing in the winter. I would fully recommend staying at Chalet Kammleitn wether you are touring,travelling through Europe or skiing. Spencer and Deb will make your stay even more memorable

We stayed at Chalet Kammleitn for 10 days in June 2010.
An ideal location to base and then tour the area by motorbike, including Italy and Slovenia.
Around 8 routes available and all accessable from this location.
Your hosts are really great and flexible for you which is what you need when out on your bike!
The food is something else and a relaxed bar area for a few drinks is just what you need after a days touring.
Plenty of advice is available from Debbie and Spencer,so if you are looking for a place to stay with your bike this is it!!

Fantastic service, good food, comfortable rooms and lovely hosts!
Two weeks skiing holiday on chalet board in March 2010. Very accommodating hosts, going out of their way to help us e.g. with lost ski-pass, car rental, train timetables, airport transfers. The food - and wine - was good and there was plenty of it. The bedrooms were comfortable, roomy and quiet.
The chalet is in a lovely location about 5 mins by bus, or 30 mins by foot. This last option is a very pleasant walk(along the river bank, away from the traffic)
The Nassfeld ski area has some very modern equipment (including a heated chair lift) so there were no lengthy queues.

Hi Debbie,
I want to say a huge thank you for looking after all of us last week. We had a marvelous time and you and Spencer looked after us extremely well and exceeded all our expectations. The Chalet was always clean and nothing was too much trouble for you, the food was delicious and thank you for sorting out the childrens early suppers. We will definitely be back at some time.

Dear Debbie and Spencer, We'd just like to thank you both once again for helping to make our family Christmas gathering so memorable. The chalet was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed being together and skiing on Xmas day!! The food, service, advice and general friendship was excellent and we had a lovely family time together.

Hi Debbie & Spencer we both just wanted to say thankyou for making our stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. We both had a great time and will definitly be coming back.
The best part of the holiday was meal times as Debbie's food was excellent with a quality homecooked meal every day. Debbie and Spencer are excellent hosts and for the price this really is unbeleiveable value for money. We met lots of new friends at meal times and the whole holiday was a joy.
Best of luck in the future and I hope we will both be seeing you soon. x x x
